I continued trying to add on to the Kotlin part of the app as well as trying to understand how to connect the two screens for navigation purposes. I ended up doing more research today and one helpful website was Alan Doc’s “Navigating between screens in an Android app” as well as the Android Studio Doc’s “Classes and object instances in Kotlin“.
